Terms of Service

3.1 Account creation

Organizers create accounts with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep it updated.

3.3 One account per person

Each organizer account is for a single individual or business entity. You may not share your account or transfer it to another party without our written consent.

3.4 Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate organizer accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period, with or without notice.

4.1 Content ownership

By uploading photos to Lasso, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the photos or have the rights to upload and distribute them
• The photos do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• You have obtained any necessary consents from individuals who appear in the photos, consistent with applicable laws

4.2 Prohibited content

You may not upload photos that contain:

• Nudity or sexually explicit content
• Content that depicts or facilitates illegal activity
• Content that harasses, threatens, or demeans any individual
• Content involving minors in any inappropriate context

4.3 Attendee data responsibility

When you use Lasso to distribute photos to event attendees, you acknowledge that attendees will provide personal data including phone numbers and facial recognition data to access their photos. You represent that your use of Lasso is consistent with any privacy notices or consents you have provided to your attendees.

4.4 Ticket link

If you provide a ticket link URL for your event, you represent that you have the right to link to that destination and that it does not contain harmful or illegal content.

5.1 Album access

Attendees access Lasso exclusively via a shared album link provided by an event organizer. Lasso does not provide a direct public sign-up path for attendees.

5.2 Phone verification

To access an album, attendees must verify their identity via a one-time SMS code sent to their phone number. By submitting your phone number you consent to receive this single verification message.

5.3 Biometric consent

To match you with your photos, Lasso processes a selfie you submit using facial recognition technology. By submitting your selfie you explicitly consent to this processing. You may withdraw consent and request deletion of your biometric data at any time by contacting hello@lasso.pics.

5.4 Photo use

Photos you download from Lasso are for your personal use. You may share them on social media provided you do not misrepresent their origin or use them in a commercial context without the event organizer's permission.

6.1 Plans

Lasso offers free and paid subscription plans. Current plan details and pricing are available at lasso.pics/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

6.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected. Billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

6.4 Free plan limits

Free plan accounts are subject to album and photo limits as described at lasso.pics/pricing. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with reasonable notice.

7.1 Your content

You retain ownership of photos and other content you upload to Lasso. By uploading content you grant Lasso a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and delivering the service to you and your attendees.

7.2 Lasso platform

The Lasso platform, including its design, software, trademarks, and the Afterglow Score methodology, is owned by Lasso and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform.
